A note on referrals
Referral volume and earnings are not guaranteed. Referrals depend on customer demand, your trade and service area, your availability, compliance standing, and network policies.
Standard Referral Workflow
Clear timeframes keep customers informed and referrals moving. SETCON Admin can adjust these windows as the network learns what works best for each trade.
- 1Accept or decline the referral within 24 business hours.
- 2After acceptance, make initial customer contact within 24 business hours and record that action in the system.
- 3Schedule an inspection or submit an estimate within 2 business days, depending on the type of project.
- 4Keep the referral status current (Contacted Customer, Inspection Scheduled, Estimate in Progress, Waiting on Customer, Estimate Submitted) to prevent unnecessary reassignment.
- 5If there is no activity after the required timeframes, we notify the contractor, then the company administrator, and finally SETCON Admin for review and possible reassignment.
